JFLA supports K - 12 grade teachers in our community and is thrilled to offer zero-interest, zero-fee loans from the Horvitz Teachers' Loan Fund for a wide range of uses, including costs associated with credit card reconciliation, continuing education and credentialing, professional development like conferences, classrooms supplies and learning materials, and even with most personal and emergency expenses like car repairs, rent, or moving expenses.

This loan program, available exclusively to teachers, is the only one that doesn't require guarantors thanks to the generosity of donors.

Final loan amounts are at the discretion of the JFLA loan committee.

Summer camps offer amazing experiences that positively affect children’s lives. Loans for Jewish day camp or Jewish sleep-away camp are available for up to $5,000 and do not require any guarantors. Please note that these loans must be repaid within one year.

JFLA is committed to helping non-profits and small businesses recover from natural disasters. Please note that we will need to run a hard credit check to process your application.

Non-profit and small business loans are up to $50,000, with three guarantors, and can be used for:

Three guarantors are required for all loans of $36,000-$50,000 who meet our standard eligibility requirements.

Two guarantors are required for loans of $7,500-$25,000 who meet our standard eligibility requirements.

Loans of up to $7,500 are available for people with one guarantor. All other eligibility requirements must be met.
