Many of today’s educators agree that a gap year after high school and before college enhances academic success. Through a gap year spent in Israel, Jewish students often mature and strengthen their bond to their community. Jewish Free Loan supports the gap year experience by offering loans up to $10,000 (with two qualified guarantors) to make an impression for life on our young adults.
At Jewish Free Loan, we rely on guarantors instead of collateral to secure your loan. A guarantor is someone who can guarantee to pay back the loan if you do not.
Applications should be completed by the student - not by a parent. If you are not yet 18 years old, please contact JFLA directly at info@jfla.org.
